An established group since 1998, Riamba has acquired considerable experience playing at numerous weddings, private parties, product launches and corporate events all over London and in many parts of the UK. Their superb musicianship, rhythmic vitality and colourful Latin style of music make them an ideal choice for that party or event where the atmosphere will stay alive all evening.

The musicians that make up Riamba are some of London’s finest and are drawn from the jazz and world-music scenes. Having studied throughout Europe, Africa and Cuba, they came together through a shared passion of jazz-improvisation and Latin-American music. Individually, their careers have led them to perform at such diverse venues as Pizza on the Park, the 606 Club, The Royal Festival Hall (London), the Sydney Festival (Australia) and The National Theatre (Ghana), as well as performing with internationally acclaimed artists.

Together as Riamba, they have performed at a wide selection of venues, including: The National Theatre, Regent’s Park Festival, The National Portrait Gallery, Somerset House and some of London’s most well-known Latin clubs.

Whether it be relaxing to the sultry Latin American sounds mixed with cool jazz or dancing the night away to the energetic grooves from Cuba, Riamba is certain to meet your mood.
