Charanga is a unique style of Cuban music in which the flute improvises over pulsating rhythms from the violin section, mesmeric, syncopated rhythms from the piano, synchronised chorus singers, tripping bass and driving percussion, and is performed to perfection by this spirited and energetic 11 piece band.

The band has had an extremely successful year, recording and releasing their new album, as well as touring across the country. Incorporating musicians from Paris, London, Chile and Cuba, this band is available for gigs across the country, and will provide fantastic dance music for a lively and exciting party or wedding reception, with everyone piling onto the dance floor –‘even the mosquitos were dancing’ at one recent event!
