Mexteca

From a duo up to an eight piece band

Mexteca have appeared in a number of cultural and folkloric festivals throughout the UK. They have entertained at many premier and BAFTA parties where they have performed in front of celebrities such as Mick Jagger, Hugh Grant, Leonardo Dicaprio, John Malcovich, Benicio Del Torro and Dustin Hoffman to name but a few. Other events include the fund raising Gala for the Royal Academy of Art in front of members of the Royal Family as well as stars such as Elton John and Sting. The cast and crew of the third Harry Potter film were serenaded by Mexteca at their “end of filming’ celebration. They have also performed for the President of Mexico, Mr Vincent Fox, during his visit to London, along with a number of consulate and embassy functions and parties, not to mention television, from trailers of the ‘So Graham Norton’ show to Hewlett Packard adverts.

Mexteca can perform in various line ups from a duo up to a 8 piece band, all in authentic Mexican costume.
