Led by the dynamic trumpeter and vocalist Andy Dickens, The Andy Dickens Band is a vibrant six-piece group who play accessible and enjoyable jazz in a variety of popular styles that range from New Orleans through Swing and Jump-Jive to Bop, Latin and Funk. Moving from Duke Ellington, via Louis Armstrong to Miles Davis and beyond.

Considered to be “The Who’s Who of Jazz in The South of England” the band features several names whose jazz reputations are both national and international. The band’s wide repertoire, crafted arrangements and enthusiasm for gritty and unusual numbers has won them a popular following amongst young and older audiences.
