East Midlands-based professional string quartet
The string quartet Sounds Interesting is one of the few professional quartets based in the East Midlands and has an outstanding reputation for providing musical entertainment in this region and further afield. All four players are professional musicians and individually possess many years of experience performing in orchestras and ensembles.

With their light-hearted and versatile programmes the string quartet has delighted audiences in a variety of venues ranging from car showrooms in England to chateaux in France and even at a Royal reception for Prince Edward!

Sounds Interesting performs for a wide range of musical tastes and can tailor their extensive repertoire to suit every occasion from salon to swing, from Mozart to musicals or from nostalgia to showbiz. They have performed at numerous wedding ceremonies and receptions and are the ideal quartet to provide unobtrusive but quality background music for your wedding breakfast, your birthday celebration or corporate function. With a sound pool of nearly 300 pieces drawn from the Classical and popular repertoire Sounds Interesting can provide effortless and varied entertainment for your special day.
