'Highly Strung' formed in 1996, the members having graduated from the Royal College of Music, the Royal Academy of Music and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
Individually they have played with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Moscow Ballet, the BBC Symphony Orchestra and the European Union Youth Orchestra. They have also performed alongside Will Young, Rod Stewart and Elton John.

Highly Strung has been entertaining wedding guests since 1997 and has extensive experience of tailoring the repertoire to create the right mood for your special day. The quartet can play from as little as one hour to five hours and they don’t mind if the ceremony and reception are at two different venues. They have repertoire to suit both church services and civil ceremonies and can offer advice about which music to consider.
