Soprano
Award-winning soprano Sarah-Jane’s most recent recital was at the Royal Opera House in their crush bar series. She studied at the Guildhall School of Music in London where she won all the major prizes and graduated with Distinction and was the British representative in the Rimsky-Korsakov Competition in St. Petersburg where she reached the semi-final.

Her operatic engagements included singing Amahl’s Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors directed by Maestro Menotti, Tosca for the National Trust and Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni) for London Opera Players.

She has sung at English National Opera, the Royal Albert Hall, St. John’s Smith Square, the British Museum, Purcell Room, Fairfield Halls, Winchester, Rochester and Guildford Cathedrals and at numerous venues throughout the country and abroad. She has also broadcast on T.V and Radio.

Through the Cardiff Singer of the World competition she was chosen to represent the UK in the Rimsky-Korsakov Competition at the Marinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, reaching the semi-final. She is also the winner of several awards including the Susan Longfield Award, Caird Foundation Travelling Award, Wingate Scholarship, Schubert Prize and Ann Wyburd Awards (GSMD) and was runner-up in the International Voices of Discovery Competition.

A keen chamber musician, she performs with harpist Luisa Maria Ovett in their duo, A Million Pearls.
