Classical/Spanish guitarist

He offers a wide range of background and performance music, both gentle and entertaining for Wedding Receptions, Dinner Parties, Business Functions, and Promotions all over the south of England.

Geoff specialises in playing music at weddings - an average of 70 a year - and is the only guitarist recommended by Virgin Bride. His extensive repertoire allows him to play during the Wedding Ceremony or Drinks Reception, the Wedding Breakfast, or any combination of these, and he is able to perform in or outdoors using gentle amplification to enhance the sound.

He has a wide repertoire of classical music ranging from Bach to the “Cavatina,” and specializes in Spanish music featuring all the well known classics such as the “Concerto de Aranjuez’ by Rodrigo and the “Asturias” by Albeniz.

He studied classical guitarist under Paul Gregory (winner of the International Segovia Prize), has a diploma in Jazz and has released 2 classical solo CDs. His next recording will be released in 2004 featuring his own compositions for solo guitar.

Geoff has played concerts in the International Guitar Festivals of Great Britain, Nottingham and Lewes, performed with the legendary Herbie Flowers and supported many international touring acts including Eduardo Niebla, Clive Carroll and Tony Cox (South Africa).

He has performed as a soloist with The Bath Concertina Orchestra and enjoys regular concerts at festivals including Glastonbury, Edinburgh and Brighton where his shows are always a sell out

Corporate clients include Honda, Debenhams, Bristol Chamber of Commerce and Virgin at many different kinds of events, ranging from opening nights, to product launches. Satisfied clients include The Savoy and the Park Lane Hilton and Geoff performed for Princess Anne at the opening night of the refurbished Brighton Dome Concert Hall.
