London Trio presents beautiful classical and popular music for violin, cello and piano.
They perform stylish background music for weddings, receptions, corporate functions and special occasions. Having an extensive repertoire list, they will provide the perfect atmosphere for your event.
Their adaptable keyboard provides the rich sound of a Steinway grand piano, so you can enjoy the London Trio at any venue. Alternatively, they can bring the piano at your venue to life with live music.

Richard gained an entrance scholarship to Birmingham Conservatoire in 1995. As well as graduating with first class honours, Richard won the Herbert Lumby Award and first prize in the String Quartet Competition.
Whilst studying in Birmingham, Richard was taught by Philippe Graffin. It was a scholarship from the Countess of Munster Musical Trust that enabled him to study with Rodney Friend at the Royal College of Music. In July 2001 Richard completed PG Dip (RCM).
Professional orchestral experience has been with the RPO and BBCSO, as well as with the Adderbury Ensemble, Soloists Ensemble, London Strings and Chameleon Arts Orchestra. Richard also teaches the violin, privately as well as for Berkshire Young Musicians Trust.
In September of this year Richard accepted a place in the Southbank Sinfonia. Recent performances have included the Chausson Poème, Brahms F minor Piano Quintet and Saint-Saëns Fantaisie for Harp and Violin.
Classical recitals as soloist, duettist and accompanist at: Royal Festival Hall, Purcell Room, Barbican, St James' Piccadilly.
Contemporary Music:
BBC radio 3 broadcast with The Lost Jockey (systems music band) Channel 4 broadcast premier "Heaven Ablaze in his Breast" by Judith Weir Performed with Steve Reich (American minimalist composer) at the Queen Elizabeth Hall.
Tours and performances with the various dance, theatre, cabaret and comedy companies (including Second Stride, Extemporary Dance Theatre, the Performance Club) in the UK and Europe.
Studied with Gweneth George (pupil of Tortelier) at Trinity College of Music and subsequently with Kate Beare (pupil of Navara).
Venues performed at include the Royal Festival Hall, Albert Hall, Carnegie Hall and Hollywood Bowl.
Chamber, solo and continuo playing: venues include St. John's Smith Square and St. James Piccadilly. Recitals with David Ward (concert pianist and professor at the Royal College of Music). Alfresco Piano Trio concerts in the South East.
New Music: World premier of "The Temptation" for solo cello and French horn by David Goymour.
