Mouth & Trousers
Close harmony at its best from four professionals
|
This outstanding quartet of singers will entertain you and your guests with a wide range of unaccompanied singing from madrigals, part-songs through to superb close harmony arrangements and classic melodies such as A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square and What a Wonderful World. You can be assured that Mouth & Trousers will divert you with their extensive repertoire drawn from a selection of the old Masters and many old favourites, and provide a musical excursion from Bach to Barbershop! Their performance will be imaginative, informative and above all, hugely enjoyable.
This young and accomplished group has wide professional experience. Individual musical backgrounds derive from some of England's most distinguished choral foundations, namely the Cathedrals of Canterbury, Oxford and Winchester. In addition to regular choral services, singing engagements have encompassed BBC broadcasts, recordings and soundtrack work, such as Mr Bean and The Vicar of Dibley, plus concert performances across Europe, Brazil, Japan, Lebanon and the United States.
Mouth & Trousers has featured throughout the UK appearing at national festivals, music clubs and promotional functions for companies. The quartet comprises:
| Andrew Olleson | Counter-tenor, Christ Church, Oxford now at St Paul's, Cathedral |
| Paul Thompson | Tenor, Canterbury Cathedral and Christ Church, Oxford |
| Paul Sartin | Baritone, Christ Church, Oxford and at Winchester Cathedral |
