Maidenhead Choral Society was reformed in 1963, from the church choirs in Maidenhead to sing in a concert celebrating the opening of the town hall.
Their repertoire for weddings includes Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring, Ave Maria, Panis Angelicus and John Rutter’s Clare Benediction.
Previous performance venues have included Norden Farm Arts Centre, St John's Church Littlewick Green, High Street Methodist Church Maidenhead, St Michael's Church Bray, Eton School Hall and St Luke's Maidenhead.
Recent concert repertoire has included Dvořák’s Mass in D, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solonelle, Mozart’s Solemn Vespers, Fauré’s Requiem, Britten’s St. Nicholas Cantata, Montiverdi’s Lament d’Arianne, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Brahms’ Love Songs and numerous works by Schubert.
