New Pro Arte Guitar Trio:
Raymond Burley - requinto guitar / guitar
  Cornelius Bruinsma - guitar
  Arne Brattland - guitar

The Pro The Pro Arte Guitar Trio was founded in 1986 and is recognised as one of the leading guitar ensembles in the UK.

The Trio has recorded five highly acclaimed CDs on the ASV label, 'Three Guitars', 'Arabesque', 'Brazileira', 'America' and 'Danzas Fantasticas'. The latest CD (Classic FM Record of the Week) features the new flexible approach to instrumentation. Where needed, a higher pitched Requinto guitar is used to extend the range and achieves a distinctive sound. When three standard guitars are used, melodic interest is shared by the performers to create a true chamber music rapport.

The group regularly gives concerts throughout the UK including several London recitals at the Purcell Room, Wigmore Hall and on BBC Radio and Television. The Trio now regularly undertakes tours throughout the USA.

Arne Brattland recently joined the trio and, with the change of personnel, it was decided to amend the ensemble's name to the New Pro Arte Guitar Trio.

The New Pro Arte Guitar Trio's varied and entertaining concert programmes are suitable for every type of audience. In addition, lecture recitals, guitar ensemble workshops and masterclasses plus a special programme for schools are also available.
